Later, enjoy a more intimate experience at a boutique family estate.

Continue to Hautvillers, the charming village where Dom Pérignon lived and where the story of Champagne truly began. End your day in Reims with a visit to its majestic cathedral, the coronation site of French kings.

Avenue de Champagne

Arrival through the Marne Valley. Enjoy a hotel pickup by your guide, followed by a smooth 2-hour scenic drive in a premium vehicle through the Marne Valley, renowned for its vineyard landscapes and World War I history.

Avenue de Champagne. Visit Épernay’s iconic avenue, home to some of the most prestigious Champagne houses, whose historic façades line the former royal road.

Cellar visit & tasting. Enjoy a guided cellar tour and Champagne tasting at one of the major houses, subject to availability.

    Lunch

    Enjoy a traditional French déjeuner in Hautvillers, or opt for a tasting menu at the gastronomic restaurant at Pommery, featuring a 3-course lunch paired with 3 different champagnes. Alternatively, if the weather allows, enjoy a picnic amidst the vineyards.

      Small House Tasting

      Hautvillers village. Explore the medieval village of Hautvillers, where Dom Pérignon once lived, overlooking the vineyards of the Marne Valley.

      Family-run Champagne house. Visit a smaller Champagne house to discover the production process, tour the cellars and tasting room, and enjoy a guided Champagne tasting.

        Reims

        Reims. Enjoy a guided visit of the historic capital of Champagne, and explore its magnificent cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture where French kings were crowned for centuries.

        Return to Paris. Drive back to Paris in a premium vehicle (approximately 2 hours).
