Then, journey to Lyon, the ancient capital of the Gauls, where monumental landmarks echo centuries of history, from the Roman Empire to the Renaissance and World War II. Enjoy a private hotel pick-up and travel to Reims with your professional driver-guide (approximately 2 hours from Paris), admiring the scenic Marne Valley with its rolling vineyards and poignant World War I landmarks — or opt for a refined first-class train journey of just one hour.

    Champagne

    Avenue de Champagne. Stroll along Épernay’s prestigious Avenue de Champagne, home to iconic houses such as Moët & Chandon, Pommery, Taittinger, Mumm, Mercier, Perrier-Jouët, Pol Roger, and Veuve Clicquot, and enjoy a private cellar visit with a refined Champagne tasting (subject to availability).

    Gastronomy among the vines. Savor a traditional French déjeuner in Hautvillers, indulge in a three-course tasting menu at Pommery paired with three Champagnes, or — weather permitting — enjoy a chic picnic set amidst the rolling vineyards.

    Dom Pérignon’s legacy. Explore the charming medieval village of Hautvillers, where Dom Pérignon once lived, and discover the origins of Champagne through its historic abbey and vineyard views.

    Family-run house. Visit a family-run Champagne house for an intimate tour of the production facilities, cellars, and tasting room, followed by a cordial tasting highlighting artisanal craftsmanship.

    Coronation city of Reims. Discover Reims on a guided tour, including its magnificent cathedral where French kings were crowned, and enjoy an elegant overnight stay in the heart of Champagne.

      Dijon and The Burgundy Wine Road

      Arrival in Burgundy. Travel to Dijon with your professional driver-guide (approximately 3 hours from Reims) and enjoy a guided walking tour of the historic capital of the Dukes of Burgundy, including its elegant architecture and mustard-making heritage.

      Gourmet Burgundy. Savor regional specialties at a historic café or indulge in a refined lunch at the iconic Halles de Dijon, meeting local producers and artisans.

      The Côte de Nuits wine route. Journey along Burgundy’s famed “Champs-Élysées,” through the prestigious Côte de Nuits vineyards, with a stop at the legendary Romanée-Conti and an introduction to the art of terroir and Pinot Noir cultivation.

      Grand Cru tastings. Visit at least two renowned estates — such as Domaine Chanson, Dufouleur Frères, Château de Corton André, or Caveau d’Aloxe Corton — for Premier and Grand Cru tastings in historic cellars, sampling wines from Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanée, and Nuits-Saint-Georges.

      Clos de Vougeot & overnight. Discover the remarkable 900-year-old Château du Clos de Vougeot, former Cistercian wine headquarters, before concluding the day with an elegant overnight stay in Beaune or a nearby château.

        The Côte de Beaune vineyards. Journey through the prestigious Côte de Beaune, home to exceptional Premier and Grand Cru vineyards, with visits to at least two renowned estates for curated tastings.

        Gastronomy along the wine route. Enjoy a leisurely lunch featuring local specialties along the vineyard-lined roads, or — weather permitting — a refined picnic set among the vines.

        Storybook villages. Discover the timeless charm of Levernois, Volnay, Meursault, Mercurey, and Pommard, admired for its remarkable château and celebrated wines.

        Arrival in Lyon. Continue to Lyon with your professional driver-guide (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes) or by train (around 1 hour 30 minutes), and settle into an elegant overnight stay in the historic heart of the city.

          Lyon History and Gastronomy

          Panoramic Lyon. Explore Lyon with a local guide, riding the funicular to Fourvière Hill for sweeping views — and, on clear days, a glimpse of Mont Blanc in the distance — before visiting the majestic Notre-Dame de Fourvière and the Roman amphitheater dating back to 15 BC.

          Renaissance & hidden passages. Wander through the Old Town’s Renaissance streets and discover the secret traboules, once used by silk workers and the Resistance during WWII.

          The capital of gastronomy. Savor Lyonnaise specialties at Les Halles de Lyon–Paul Bocuse, or refine your culinary skills with a private cooking class led by a local chef.

          Lyon from every angle. Cruise along the Rhône and Saône rivers for a refined perspective of the city, or visit one of Lyon’s notable museums, from the Musée des Confluences to the Fine Arts Museum or Musée Gadagne.
