Terms and conditions

All tours will be quoted based on an itinerary and timescale agreed in advance. All tours will be quoted and paid for in Euros.

Payment schedule:

30% of the total package price - on payment to confirm the booking and secure entrance tickets to different museums and sights.

70% of the total package price (the balance) is due 30 days before the departure date.

All payments are guaranteed and the total of the pre-paid amount sent will be refunded in the case of any tour operator failure.

Tour price includes:
• Guiding services
• All associated vehicle costs such as fuel, road Tolls and parking (if applicable to the tour)
• Guding equipment (for groups from 6 people)
• Agency fees
  
  What’s extra:
• Any accommodation costs will be paid for separately and in addition to Tour Price. Whilst I will find and or recommend accommodation for the tour any deposit to secure said accommodation will be with your credit card. Final payment of accommodation will be to your account.
• ​Flight and train tickets
• Trip and/or medical insurance
• Visa (if applicable)
• Excess baggage charges
• Museum and workshops admissions per person
• Meals and drinks, tasting experience
• Extra activities (biking, hot air balloon riding, kayaking, etc.)

You will receive a full refund of the tour price if you cancel at least 30 days before the start date of the tour. Timing is calculated in accordance with the time zone of the tour.

Any non-refundable expense linked to securing entrance tickets will be withheld from the deposit amount, when refunding.

For a cancellation less than 30 days before the tour start date, the customer will receive a refund of 50% of the total package price.

You will not be eligible for any refund in the case of a “no-show” or if you initiate the cancellation on or after the tour start time, unless you are prevented from taking the tour by “Unforseeable Events” (see below). Timing is calculated in accordance with the time zone of the tour.

UNFORSEEABLE EVENTS

You may receive a refund of the tour price if you are prevented from taking the tour because of an unforeseeable event that is out of your control and shows up after the booking.

The following is a list of examples of what is considered as Unforeseeable Events:
• Impersonal events that make it dangerous or impossible to safely undertake a tour, such as: travel restrictions imposed by governments, global epidemic disease or unusual to an area, war, civil insurrection, strike, extreme weather, earthquake and natural disaster;
• A ship that is unable to dock and prevents you from taking a tour identified and marked as a shore excursion tour type on the site;
• A flight cancellation if there are no other means to travel to the destination;
• A “Do Not Travel” advisory issued by your Official Authorities after a booking is made.
  
  The following do not constitute Unforeseeable Events:
• Illness or injury of a tour participant
• Poor weather
• Change of plans
• Oversleeping
  
  Refunds will be sent back to the original payment method used in making the booking. Depending on the bank's processing time, it can take 10 business days for the refunds to reflect in your bank account or card balance.

We strongly advise all travellers to obtain medical travel insurance and cancellation insurance from a reputable travel insurance provider in their home country.

Your guide, driver, and vehicle are fully licensed, registered, and insured in accordance with French legal requirements.

As a US or Canadian or Australian citizen, travelling to France as a tourist, you only need a valid passport, no visa. Some foreign nationals may need a visa to enter France. Please verify your authority’s regulations.

You are responsible for meeting passport requirements, and we recommend applying for a passport well in advance.

Make sure that your passport's expiration date complies with the laws of your country and of France. For most countries, your passport needs to be valid for at least 3 to 6 months beyond your last day in France.

You can rent a car in France if you have a valid US, Canadian, Australian drivers licence. Some foreign nationals may not be allowed to rent a car in France. Please verify your authority’s regulations or seek our advice.

Before travelling, we recommend having a look at your government's foreign affairs website, you might find some useful information there.

All information provided during booking will be kept confidential and not shared or sold to other parties, except as necessary to secure your travel arrangements with our partners. Your mailing and past travel information will be retained by us.

You may receive mailings from us unless you request to be removed from our mailing list.

Any photos you send or that our guides take with your permission will become our property and may be used in our promotions with your consent but without compensation to you.
